We started Romanwell because we know what it’s like to hear the words, “You have IBD,” and face all of the questions that come with it.
Our team of IBD dietitians is here to help you navigate the twists and turns of your IBD journey. We'll work closely with you and your care team to make sure that you have the tools and confidence you need to manage your symptoms and advocate for yourself wherever you are on your path.

Meet our IBD dietitians

Brittany Rogers, MS, RDN, CSDH, CPT
Brittany is an expert IBD & GI dietitian and behavior change specialist. She is one of the first dietitians to become board certified in digestive health and serves on the Diet and Nutrition Workgroup of the National Scientific Advisory Committee for the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation. She also leads the IBD practice group for the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. Brittany has been living with ulcerative colitis for over 25 years and also has IBS and PSC.Through her work with the EDGI Training Project, Brittany helps train clinicians to provide safe and effective care for patients with co-occurring GI and eating disorders. She also co-authored the project’s textbook for clinicians, Comprehensive Nutrition Therapy for Co-Occurring Gastrointestinal and Eating Disorders.
Based in New York, Brittany stays busy with her husband, daughter, dog, and cats.

Haleigh Gaines, MS, RDN
Haleigh is an expert IBD dietitian with over 6 years of experience in clinical nutrition. She completed her Masters degree at The Ohio State University and is credentialed with the Commission on Dietetic Registration. She brings deep expertise to the team in both pediatric and adult nutrition and is passionate about helping her clients accomplish their goals and find freedom in food selection. She is a professional member of the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation and American Gastroenterological Association.
Haleigh is based in Ohio where she enjoys spending time with her husband and children.
