Our approach
Our goal is to help you develop the knowledge, tools, and confidence you need to manage your Crohn's disease for the rest of your life.
Personalized one-on-one support, every day
We know that Crohn's disease looks different for everyone, so our approach does too. Together, we'll develop a personalized roadmap so that you can reach your unique health goals and we'll be there to support you the whole way.
Evidence-based care you can trust
Our care is based on the very latest scientific evidence so you can trust that you're receiving the highest quality care you deserve. We'll help you implement these recommendations in a way that is sustainable and fits with your unique culture and lifestyle.
Focus on expanding, rather than restricting, your diet
Crohn's disease is a chronic condition, so your diet needs to be sustainable. We’ll help you safely expand your diet and make incremental changes to your lifestyle so that you can enjoy food without guilt or fear of triggering symptoms.
Here's how it works

Step 1
We’ll get to know each other in a complementary consult
We take the time to get to know you and your health history, and understand what’s going well and where you’re looking for support. If we think we can help, we’ll recommend one of our 3- or 6-month programs to hep you reach your health goals.
Step 2
Together, we’ll make a plan that sticks
When we start working together, we'll take a comprehensive look at your diet, supplements, medical history, labs, and symptoms. We'll talk about your energy, sleep, stress, and relationship with food, and work together to develop a plan to reach your personal goals.

Step 3
We’ll celebrate progress toward your goals
We’ll meet weekly throughout the program to review progress towards your goals and make adjustments when needed. Between appointments, you’ll have access to your dietitian anytime to answer questions or share updates as they come up.
Step 4
You’ll leave ready to live your life confidently with Crohn's
Our goal is to equip you with the tools you need to feel confident in managing your condition. By the end of the program, you’ll be ready to manage any obstacle Crohn's disease throws your way.

Hear what our clients have to say
"I went from running to the bathroom 12-15 times a day, losing blood, and skipping meals from fatigue or fear of losing control of symptoms, and now I'm feeling confident in my ability to plan meals for myself, eat more, stress less, and have 1-3 solid BMs/day"

"While working with Brittany, in conjunction with medication, I have been able to achieve remission, and then was able to become pregnant! I am so thankful to Brittany for helping guide me on this path towards a healthier lifestyle and allowing me to achieve my goals! "

"If you're on the fence or not sure about taking the leap, absolutely do it. In my 8 years of being diagnosed with ulcerative colitis, working with Romanwell was the best care decision that I've made...now, I'm confident, I feel good, [and] I have energy."

"Biggest thing was the feeling of an educated and experienced work partner who is genuinely engaged and invested in the outcome. I never felt like just another patient ushered in and shuffled out...it always felt as though I was the only person on her agenda."
